About Us
Bayside family surgery has been a GP practice for over 20 years. Caring for people in Dublin 5 and in Dublin 13. The practice was established by Doctor Michele Caraher in 2001 initially in Kilbarick road but has more recently moved to Bayside shopping centre. We have recently moved to a purpose built medical centre. And there are services provided by doctors, a nurse and admin staff. There is also access to a psychologist.
Doctors
Doctor Michele Caraher
Has worked as a GP in North Dublin since 2001. She is now moved into a purpose built premises in Bayside Shopping Centre. She graduated from the RCSI in 1988 and has worked in the UK and Australia before returning to Dublin to work as a General Practitioner.
Doctor Fiona Macken
Fiona has worked in the practice since 2007. As well as her general medical expertise, she is qualified in mindfulness and life coaching which she does in her own time.
Doctor Clare Leonard
Clare joined the practice in October 2023. She has extensive experience in general practice and is an excellent addition to our team.
Nurse
Anne Sloan - Advanced nurse practitioner
Specializing in allergies and anything immunology. Anne is a great addition to our practice and we privileged to have her as a member of our staff.
Receptionists
Gillian Keirns
Gillian has been with the practice since 2007. She has a great connection with the patients. She is a great organizer and very efficient member of the team.
Marie Murphy
Marie joined the practice in 2014 and is involved in the very efficient running of the practice and helps complete our team.
